IBS Filtran Kunststoff-/ und Metallerzeugnisse GmbH is an American company founded in 1986 and located in Morsbach-Lichtenberg. As a market leader in Europe, we supply all automotive and transmission manufacturers with fluid filter systems for combustion engines, hybrid and all-electric drives.

One example of our cooperation with automotive and transmission manufacturers is the world’s first series production of a plastic oil pan with integrated suction oil filter.
This concept has been successfully implemented since 2001 and now offers millions of advantages over conventional systems in vehicles in terms of weight, design flexibility, component and functional integration.
In addition, further developments in the field of “laser welding processes for plastics” were realized in series and a special CFD software for the simulation of particle separation and flow processes in the filter was developed. This program is an exclusive world first. Novel filter media and systems complete the IBS Filtran program.
